Fish Portsmouth – Fresh Seafood in Portsmouth

On the day of Comic Con 2024 in Portsmouth, excitement was in the air. After an exhilarating day at Portsmouth Guildhall, my friend Conor and I decided to extend our adventure with a visit to Old Portsmouth. We reminisced about our days working together at Becketts and made our way to the newly refurbished Fish Portsmouth in The Camber. Having heard rave reviews about its fresh seafood offerings, we were eager to experience it ourselves. Truly an amazing space which has been truly transformed from how it looked before!

Comic Con 2024 – Portsmouth Guildhall

Comic Con 2024 at Portsmouth Guildhall was a great event! The event was bustling with fans dressed as their favourite characters, creators showcasing their latest works, and panels discussing everything from the latest comic releases to behind-the-scenes stories of popular TV shows and films. Highlights for the attendees included meeting renowned comic book artists, snapping photos with cosplayers, and attending a captivating Q&A session with a surprise guest from a hit series. Myself personally enjoying meeting with good friends like Seekers Create or The Mary Rose Museum who had their own activities going on!

I attended Comin Con 2024 with my old friend Conor. We hadn’t seen each other in a while and we decided to head to Comic Con at Portsmouth Guildhall. As we reminisced about old times and shared our favourite moments from Comic Con, we both agreed that a visit to Old Portsmouth was the perfect way to end the day. The idea of exploring the newly refurbished Fish market indoor store and enjoying some fresh seafood was too tempting to resist.

Old Portsmouth, with its historic charm and scenic views, was the ideal backdrop for a beautiful sunny afternoon. The walk through the quaint streets, lined with old buildings and pubs, set the mood for a relaxing end to our adventurous day. As we approached The Camber, the sight of Fish Portsmouth, beautifully renovated and inviting, promised a memorable dining experience. The exterior’s blend of modern and traditional elements hinted at the culinary delights waiting inside. We may have gone to A Bar Bistro for a couple of cheeky beers beforehand though…

The area is a delightful blend of the old and new, where quaint pubs and modern cafes coexist seamlessly. As me and Conor strolled through Old Portsmouth we could see just how busy this renovated Fish market was!

Arriving at The Camber, we were immediately impressed by the newly refurbished Fish Portsmouth. The exterior, with its contemporary yet classic design, stood out beautifully against the historic backdrop of Old Portsmouth. The moment we walked in, we were greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Overall, Fish impressed us right from the start.
